Hi Guys- so apparently there's been a slight issue at the hotel. They have the rooms held and at the same discounted price, but apparently when some people have called in and asked for the Yuhl/Patten wedding, they can't find the name :(

They are working to fix the problem and get our names back in the system. Please let us know if you have any issues getting a room! We have the General Manager working on this now :)

Wedding Attire and Other Info

WOW... only 40 days to go!!!! We've received many of the RSVP's back...still waiting on a few. WHAT a crowd this is going to be!!!

Some people have been asking us for information about certain wedding details, so we figured we'd update the blog and post it on here.

WEDDING ATTIRE: Semi-Formal. Here is a website with the "guidelines" for what to wear.

We're not worried about if you're wearing specifically a "white" shirt... feel free to add a little flare and personal style! No jeans, shorts and flaps ;)  Pretty much slacks and a tie for a guy, you can certainly bring a jacket or wear one! And for the ladies...I know you all know how to dress to the nine! :) We know we're easing going and casual, but we can't wait to see everyone spruced up for the big day!

HOTELS:We've received some feedback for those of you who want a hotel room where we have a group room rate. Just in case you didn't get that information before, here it is again:

The Del Mar Hilton, for $175 per night. Book it under the Yuhl/Patten Wedding to receive the discount. Here's the address, it's about 6 minutes from the venue!

Accommodations and other Info

Invitations are in the mail!!!! We only had about 3 Save The Date's come back to us, so hopefully everyone receives theirs soon!

We sent out an email to a few people, but just in case we didn't email you.... Here is information for hotel accommodations:

We got a group room discount for the Del Mar Hilton at a rate of $175 per night. It is booked under the Yuhl/Patten wedding, and if you need to book it you can contact them or us and we can do it for you as well. Any cancellations or modifications can be made until September 15th :)

The hotel is about 6 miles from the venue Rancho Valencia, and it is also located right off of the 5 freeway.

* There are some other hotels in Del Mar and Solana Beach, which would be the closest city to the venue, however they didn't have the best room rates or options... Del Mar Hilton was the best one. Feel Free to book anywhere though!*
